    It's finally begun!

The Nova's insurance was swapped over yesterday and I am now the pround driver of this:

I shall be starting the conversion some time this week and hope to have it all back together for Billing. It's booked in to have the engine bay painted at the end of the month and I shall be getting the engine bay stitch welded before hand. I know I don't need to stitch weld the bay but as it's being painted I may aswell do it now for "when" I put an XE in it in the future.

I have had a change of plans with the car and I am going to run a stripped out interior. I have just bought a 6 point roll cage, bucket seats, carbon fibre door cards and I am on the lookout for some 3" harnesses and some sort of false floor.

I took the RFX's off the Nova as I am putting them on the Polo whilst the Nova's off the road so it is currently looking like this out on the road (propper sleeper look )

Yep, Connor is kindly swapping my tyres for me so they shouldn't look like balloons and scrub the arches anymore!

The strip down of the Corsa began today. Only managed to spend a couple of hours on it but managed to get most of the front end off. I also decided to put the wheels back on the Nova to see what they look like and WOW what a differance! I think I may need to lower a bit more now

    Anyway here are some pictures:

And some pictures of the Corsa stripdown:

Not too much rust around the structural areas

I cut the slam panel out as it will be easier to get the engine out. I had loads of fun hack sawing a Corsa to bits

All back in the garage ready for another day's hacking tomorrow and then it's engine out and off to the graveyard for the Corsa where it belongs

Could you take pics of what you remove from the engine mate, as ive considered this conversion on mine, and although im considering selling, id like to do what you are if no one takes her away from me,

Also getting another car was a good move as then you can take your time, ill be doing that also haha,
Nova looks good mate, when your done, im assuming youll give it a good clean after all that hard work, Get some auto glym tire dressing, its great.. Will bring those tires up a treat!

Keep it up mate! have to make it to the next nova meet i think :P
