    Default Nobbys D reg JNB'y C25XE

Well as most of you know ive recently aquired this little beauty

D reg shell with most of the bits inside to put it back together.

The crossmember and battery tray are rotten so i am ordering a new front panel and battery tray and the sills are solid but have the rot disease so will i will be renewing the sills aswell.

Plans are keep it looking factory easrly mk1 just unsure of a colour yet ( chocolate brown, leaf green, nordic blue or maybe the mettalic orangey red ive seen on some early novas), will be stich welded and im going to do the cutout for xe/let but im unsure what engin im going to go for yet. Im planning on removing the seam sealer from under the arches and maybe underneath as i want the shell to last me .

So these are the for sale piccys

then when i got her she looked like this on the trailer

so put her in my garage and couldnt resisit cheeky pic

some more pics some of the rot bug but sold sills

so today i got her out the garage found out the many box's what i do and dont need and gave her a quick wash seems like its been under trees for ages

then i got thte wire brush on the drill and cleaned all the o/s inner wing off of dirt and sealent etc **** pic

then started on the o/s of the engine bay just went over the top with the drill and some bits flaked off and ended up like this now went abit overboard but i want this to be a nice clean car not mint just clean

no finished no where near either on the inner wing or the engine bay yet, i will be ordering my front panel monday so fit that next weekend all being well, then on with the stitch welding and finish the bay then start the sills then battery tray.
