Also, some of them can be as low as 140bhp

Hardly a fair basis to say that 172's are slow then is it, thats like saying porsche 911 carrera turbos are slow because ive been in a nova saloon that beat one (said nova has a 300bhp let btw) so again is an unfair comparison

Remove the turbo and i guarantee you the clio will hand the 106 its ass!
