Hi everyone, first of all I hope nobody thinks I am sort of hijacking this thread in anyway.

I have a 2011 vauxhall combo cdti van that I am modifying lightly purely to attract a bit more attention to promote my business.

Nothing that extreme, just some nice promotional decals, set of 17" rims, tinted glass, possibly an induction kit.

The very real problem I am constantly coming up against is where and what type of lowering springs to go for to do the job so that it's sitting pretty on it's new rims.

Nobody seems to want to commit to whats required but I see some on this thread have gone down this route with good results so i'm hoping someone can give me the definitive answer as to what to go for?

Correct me if i'm wrong but it would appear there are no front and rear complete packages to do the job in one go so to speak?

But people seem to have got it right with a combination of two sets of springs, one for the front and one for the rear, yes?

If this is the case, what exactly should I be looking for to get this done correctly once and for all?

Lastly, what is the widest size of tyre i can fit to these rims on the rear?

Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated and welcomed.

    Thanks in advance,

    Regards,

    Chris.

    Ok thanks,

is is this the same for a 2011 cdti model?

if so, where would I get just a pair of front springs?

Daz on vxro has converted a Corsa C combo into a Combo VXR using a knackered Meriva VXR as a source for parts.

    http://www.vxronline.co.uk/forum/sho...ecially-billy)

The rear beam was fitted with the rear disc version from the Meriva, which is the same as an Astra G one. He's also put a Spax suspension kit on it from a Meriva, which is basically Astra G rear end and Corsa C front end.

    Hope this helps
