Been a long while since last update mainly because I've been busy but also havnt been in png much because I hate the new website, if it ain't broke dont fix it!

So here goes with a big update......

New wings, unfortunately there copy's but better than rusty ones!

Wings filled and set up for primer

Once primed I stone chipped the insides and round the arch edge

    Then painted before fitted

Finally got the panel beater to weld the drivers door up

Coolant pipes fitted and pressure tested to make sure there is no leaks

Brushed some waxoyl on the usual rot place before fitting the battery tray

Made fuel lines and fitted pump and filter using a make shift ramp didn't get any pics of the work but will post some up once it's on a proper ramp up at my work

Engine bay finished off and had her running for the first time after alot of hassle with having no fuel or spark, turned out in the end vauxhall had sent me the wrong fuel injection relay. Useless fcuks. Runs well

Fixed the correct relay neatly on a radiator bracket

Pic of the spark plug cover before it got a lick of paint

Car getting trailered up to work to get painted

    Thanks for the comments

Door primed and fitted with the other door along with wings and bonnet to make sure it all lined up before painted

Spot welded side skirt nipples on to the wings

Bonnet was just slightly touching the engine so had two slots chopped out and knocked in then welded back up. Then smoothed it off with filler and re-primed. Looks alot neater than just chopping a bit out, need some pictures of it finished.

Car an bits in the spray booth ready to be painted
