I've told my insurance before that i'm changing to another Gm based alloy..
Just incase. As ingornance(sp?) isn't bliss and hasn't been for along time.

Mine got a few things i've never had, as i was thinking of fitting them.
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce

Tell me about it, I went into the back of someone in may, £275 of damage (and I think even that was high for a scratch in the bumper) that they tried to get £1300 out of me for, so I told them to fcuk off to the insurance company and I'd pay it through them to keep my ncb, it's still ongoing due to personal injury settlements and was up at £3000 by june!

I think you just have to use a little common sense. Invalidating insurance because of a URL sticker in the window is a bit daft if you ask me - do they give you a discount for having a car alarm sticker? No.

If you have a car thats pretty heavily modified, the insurer probably won't give a toss if you forgot to declare a sticker or other minor mod. If you have stated a car to be bog standard though when its got wheels or suspension, then thats pushing things. However, if when you get your quote on the phone you tell them it has wheels from a different ford and they don't bother about it then you're in the clear. I'd keep a record of the date/time of the call JUST in case though.

Agree with the personal injury claims should be handled by a personal injury policy though.

Wondering the same about mine (mustard project), it would be easier to tell them whats still standard rather than whats modified

They didnt actually invalidate his cover due to the url stickers, but they certainly tried to though!
