I am struggling to wire my dash at the moment.
Loom is from an astra gte, car is a mk2.
Having looked at the guides, people talk about the green plug. I have this but only four wires not six, and no green one!

My Rebuild
They're over there with their new toys. Someone brought them in. No idea who bought them though.....
Astra mk2 loom the green will be at the x5 plug and you'll also need to run a temp (blue) from the stat housing, the only wires you need out of that plug are eml (brown/blue trace) and brown/yellow trace to ground out to give the fault codes
yar, the early xe is totally different. lee has wired em in before, and has a decent knowledge.
ECU wiring kind of sorted that. Got a wire running from the stat aswell. But I have wired that from the round plug. Did the same for the rev counter. This is my only issue. Need a good signal for my vx220 dash.

should be a green wire at the coil multiplug, use that. hang on i think i can find which term at the ecu to use.
right, i can put a pic up later. heres what you need to do:
locate the ecu big plug
remove the 3 screws in it, 1 large 2 small, and remove the small trim
flip the plug over and prise the white pin part out of the black bit
you will now see the wires, locate the green one, and tap into it
job done.
That would work great. If there was a green wire to tap into.
