I know what you mean, it galls me that people claim for no injury, but in this case .........

Stuart you seem traumatised, in shock and have the nerves of a bullied school boy which is unable to sleep, joking apart are you okay and what where you driving?
totally third party fault, as they should slow down or stop due to obstrucion in there path...
Whiplash in the morning............
Hope you and the car are ok
A lad at work apparently wasn't racing... yeah right... He braked hard on a roundabout after he got pulled out on and the lad behind locked up and hit him at a measly speed doing very little damage to his Corsa rear end
He claimed for injury seeing specialists and being a bloody jessy over his back and he got £2000 despite being fine a couple of days later, I put the injury really being due to poor manual handling at work... Then he has the cheek to moan about insurance prices
Highway code isn't law though, its just guidelines (unless he's doing stuff like crossing double whites)Originally Posted by Stuart
I was always under the impression if someone rear ends you, its pretty hard for them to claim it wasn't their fault - as said in the thread, its up to the person behind to leave enough room to stop

The guy that hit me up the bum when I was turning right at a junction got points and a twelve hundred quid fine plus costs.
the five second gap is there for a reason. If he hit you because up the bum he was clearly to close. you did nothing out of the blue. nothing dangerous or jumped in to his lane to cause him to go up your ****. i can only see it being his fault. but i will need to see a detailed drawing and some graphs. maybe for this it would be better to see a pie chart. do like my pie charts
it is his fault,
he obs wasnt paying attention to you/the road to notice you had stopped etc.
and im sure your more stressed then normal!
