They're over there with their new toys. Someone brought them in. No idea who bought them though.....
o/s chassis leg,
now this one im going to remove the forward section only, for the simple fact that most chassis leg repair sections only go to the bulkhead and not fully under the floor, the same process can be done on either leg as the weld positions seem to mirror themselves,
only one pic as i was getting tired and hungry
yellow dot................i think you get the gist by now
success is only limited by a weak mind
great work, keep it up
o/s leg continued
right guess what the yellow dots are for here
here for illistration only is how the repair section would be offerd to the car ( i didnt spend any time trying to line it up as its only for a quick pic)
either leg can be removed from the bulkhead only in order to fit the repair section, the welds on the n/s pretty much match the o/s,

right a quick guide in how to find spot welds hidden by sealer,
hmmmmmm can see them
add some heat,
then some srapping, this will peel of very easily now
after a little bit of sand paper and et-voila
and now drilled oot
as always any questions or comments please ask.

Still not ready to tackle the Gsi yet ?

not got the floor, unlevel ground is ok for removing chassis legs but not for fitting them,
anyone interested in full roof skin removal?
success is only limited by a weak mind
