corsa c20xe no power to loom

hi,i tuck a c20xe out of a corsa b(USED TO BE A 1.2) last week running.i then put it in to another corsa b 1.4 sri 16v.i pluged the 9 pin plug in,all the colours matched up.now i turned it over and it wont start,theres no spark and the pump not working.can any one help please

you say the wires matched up, does that include the black live? and isn't the sri 16v's immoilised? but thats should only stop the pump side of things.

is the Black wire on the end of the loom near the injectors connected ?

That would be the ecu, once engine has been changed, imobliser would not affect it at all.

the pump is still connected to the cars wiring and has to be bypassed!

it never has on any of the ones ive done....

it has on all of them i have done over the years apart from early corsa's
