    i managed to get the mot finally sorted for the corsa so it is now officially back on the road ready for billing and the nova goes away for a while to have a few bits of tidying up done, just a few pics after i cleaned it for the first time in ages and a few pictures my mate took a while back before the conversion

    Don't worry about it both cars look excellent btw, I'm glad you didn't big block the nova now as well e16 ftmfw

    thanks dude i try to keep on top of them but its hard with english weather i know its not as much power but theres to many with just xe's put in and i wanted to do something a little different so i will be putting bike carbs on the nova sometime soon as i bought them a while back but wanted to wait till the car was off the road then i could make the engine bay look a bit tidier at the same time

    So it's been a while since this has been updated and alot has happened since really with the project and other things going on with other cars etc.
    I'll try and start where I left off, so the nova went into hiding and started to be stripped down while I had the corsa on the road, the plan was to strip the front end down and at the same time rebuild the engine with added bike carbs that I got from someone I knew. They had originally come off a 1.4 8v I believe and the carbs were from a zx9r and came with alternator bracket, fuel pump, manifold etc ready to fit.

    From the whole plan changed and I ended up selling these carbs once I had sold the e16se engine and bought an early c20xe. The e16se engine ended up being rebuilt and transplanted into a mini as the lad who bought it managed to keep in touch and sent some pictures over whereas the carbs ended up going on a 1.6 8v engine in a nova but I didn't manage to get any pictures of this.

    Pretty much exactly that haha it felt nippy but I got bored of it and prefer the look of the xes in the engine bay
