Everything was then primered including doors and all the panels and all the small bits hoping to get some colour on. The order of all the bits to get painted was the shell starting with underneath, engine bay, interior then exterior and finally all the panels then after the shell is done.

The engine was also primed at the same time as all the final niggly bits had been picked up.

Starting off with the shell it was put back on the jig and masked up, underneath was then primed, raptor sealed with the non tintable stuff, I did it this way as I wasn't sure if the colour would be altered by the raptor on mixing, it was then painted and lacquered. Absolutely love how it's turned out and even more so the colour, couldn't be happier with it.

The battery tray scuttle area was also painted at the same time, this didn't need to be perfect as will be hidden anyway but looks really good.

Thanks, blocking primer looks like it sucks I've always wanted the underside of mine doing and this was the best opportunity, get yours done if you have the time even though no one will ever see it you'll know its there.

Next up were the front inner wings shell and panels, along with the engine bay, the inner wings had the same treatment as underneath, primed, raptor sealed, painted and lacquered. The primer and raptor was done seperatley then everything was painted together.
The finish on the engine bay came out amazing and so happy with the colour and finish, lovely bit of smoothing going on too.
