Data speed depends on coverage, and network, and signal etc. Your home broadband must be slow. 3g and even hsdpa shouldn't compare even running at absolutely perfect conditions.

Nah broadband is very fast at home, so my iPhone.

No idea what hspda is but I'm happy knowing that all other phones makers are playing catch up with Apple

i have an old skool sony erricson k800i and its great for dropping and holding doors open. i dont care about any new phones as the techology will be dated next year.

Hsdpa is faster than 3g, and up to 7.2 mbps but in limited coverage areas. 3g is older and a lot slower.

In general use you'll get no more than half maximum speed when out, and less than that if in a moving car, the organisers in a building.

I'm thinking about this after my current contract is up.

I don't really like touchscreens, but as I'm a nokia whore and their current lineup is pretty gash, I might have to get a prodphone. And I refuse to get a jesus phone. Or I might look at the Nokia X3 or whatever one it is that has buttons on it still.
