    aye it has a few crispy bits but im quite surprised how solid it is.

    i got a bit done last night. stripped the wings off and think they have never been off before i had to cut the seal on them.

    then set about the horible mk2 dash as i bought greg's sr one of him.

    i was quite surprised it wasn't more rusty under the wings.




    slam pannel has seen better days tho. dont know if i should plate it up or change it for a new one.


    im not doing much just now till after my hols then its full steam ahead i cant wait to drive it again.

    good progress kev, take it you dont like the mk2 dashs? also would you sell the blue heater knobs?

    i like mk2 dash if its in a mk2 and it was realy badly fitted.the blue nob's are for sale yes.

    I'd stick a new slam panel on that, for a man of your talent it's a 5 min job
