Once old black insulation tape gets wet it can peel etc, I done my nova loom last year, spent ages doing it, 12months later and its looking ****e/

Same as this. But a normal engine or internal loom, all labelled & ready to remove/install countless times with minimal effort.
Tricks you into a false sense of security. You think you've done a good job and it looks nice when it's just been done but after a while it startes to peel muhahahahahahaaaaa
