    ok. undo your ecu plug, undo the silver screw and the 2 smaller brass ones. the central part with the pins will now prise out. if you look at the side where all the wires go in, there are pin numbers at the edge, your looking for pin 28. its a black wire in the middle row. if you have 12v at this with the ign switched on or cranking, the wiring is ok, if not its your ign live to the ecu. also check pin 18, a large red in the first row. i will take pics tomorrow.if all this is ok, its a sensor issue, as the ecu will be powering up ok, or the ecu will be goosed.

    ok mate cheers
    its apparently ruuning phase 2 chips
    it was all working in nobby's so dont see why not in mine

    not sure, but stuff can be affected by being moved.

    sure can, bought an engine that was running fine in the car, fitted it to corsa and the starter was goosed

    You're missing something mega simple then, have you asked nobby how he had it wired?

    how about it was involved in a serious accident, wires could have so easily got shorted out and fried something

    nobby is like 2 hours away
    if all else fails il just buy a new loom and ecu
    and start again with the wiring
