    Default nova/corsa conversion shafts....

I am doing a 2nd group buy on nova equal length conversion shafts
These shafts are replaced if they snap.

The price is £142.50 posted for the pair.
For a single it is £74 posted.
I would need at least 5 pair or 10 singles (or somewhere near)
please check page 15 and list below if you are interested but only if you are sure!

** Group buy last page. ** closing date for the group buy is 15/7/10, NOW CLOSED****
    Cheers David.

no they wouldent there cack thats what courtnay shafts were martin tinker also did them and the splines used to break off in the outter cv as thats the weakest pointt i went through 4 short shafts all broke the same and that was with a standard xe and at that time they would only sell as a pair i still have a couple of long ones in the garage these were all you could get 10 years ago and were 360 a set and were pants hence the emergance of motorsportshafts with big outers

i'd say thats down to production and design faults. look at gte shafts, small diameter yet used with lets and dont break. i agree a taper doesnt help but if the shaft is the same thickness and made using modern casting techniques it would be fine.

the reason gte ones dont break is there able to flex a little as there the same diamiter and is no inherent week point the thicker shafts will not flex at all so the problem magnifies at the weakest point it isnt just me that has had the problem i know 4 otheres that had at least 3 sets of them

if you want nova outers use gte shafts there a safer bet i use them on the loon and there fine and a safer bet imo

the tapered shafts always broke were the outer securing pin sat

as said tapered are no good at all, i wouldn't even use them on a standard xe!
these are for machined hubs and big block cv's.

Just so you all know, I could also do equal length in this group buy!
