    Default gensis 500watt amp series 2 probs

    first things 1st im no electrion so i dnt no much

    i have a gensis 500wat series 2 amp, when wired up i have power but does not produce power through the subs, i have another identical amp and that 1 is fine. is there any obvious things it could be , or any where i could take it 2 be tested or repaired?

    Assume ANY LIGHTS ARE ON WHEN POWERED UP? fUSE NOT BLOWN?

    I would get it to an ICE specialist tbh, get them to look over it. Genesis is nice stuff isnt it iirc??

    the red power light comes on and fuse is fine but does not produce power through speakers i have another 1 but wanted 2 run 1 amp per sub

    and i dont think there are many car audio specialists my way maybe have 2 try sed of 2 genesis?

    got a genesis profile amp here iirc there needs to be a green light on and a red means theres a problem

    red is protection mode,,, double check your wiring into it as well,,,, also turn all levels, crossovers etc etc on the amp down before you switch it on,,,

    last but not least make sure it still powers on with the rca's disconnected (should do this anyway when installing amps),,
