Yamaha R1 carbs/throttle bodies
Right guys i was just wondering, are R1 carbs/throttlebodies one and the same or two completely different things? It's just some adverts say 'R1 carbs' some say 'R1 carbs/thottlebodies' and them some say 'R1 throttlebodies not carbs'!!! How do you tell the difference if they are two different things, as some seem to have loads of wires and then others none but it looks like they've just removed the wiring!! Help!!
carbs are carbs
and throttle bodies are throttle bodies
one is constantly fueled
the other fuel injected
carbs have a choke linkage
tb's have injectors
thats about as easily as i can explain it
