    Default 'home made' filler FTW

I ordered some GRP spec filler paste but it didnt come in time so today I mixed up some resin and some filler powers I got from a repair kit a few years back.

It was microsphere glass filler powder. Mixed in to the consistency desired (thick and lumpy or really thin etc) and applied. Its drive rock hard in ho time and sands well.

Not sure how effective it would be on the car, but I do believe its 100% waterproof unlike regular filler

Filler doesn't stop rust! If it's under the filler it will creep up and bubble you filler/fibre glass

That wont really be a problem for me

If you've killed the rust off though surely a waterproof GRP filler would help stop it in future.. meh
