corsa c dip beam not working

for my sisters car, had a look around the net and it seems to be a common issue, but with no answers. any of the vauxhall techs know a fix for it? or anyone who has one had similar problems?

sides, main beam, fogs all work, just both dip, she's had the car in a garage for a quick check and apparently all fuses and bulbs are good...

Melted switch next likely candidate. They don't like the current they have to carry. Check by substitution. (or ohm meter across the contacts on the back of the switch)
