Question 6 dail sr clocks problems

    hey guys
just got my my clocks today (thanks to wwmnw)
but sadly you dont seem to fit
my car is a f reg 1.2 merit.
iv taken the old clocks out and it seem the old clocks have a 6 pin connecter on the back and the new ones have a 7 pin,
    so what im woundering is,
is it easy to change over and how? or should i just buy new clocks
    cheers guys
    jamie

they are mk2 clocks you have bought, which dont physically fit the mk1 dash. The Mk1 clocks also only have the 12 pin connector rather than a 14 as the oil pressure and rev counter connect onto spade fittings on the back of the clocks
