The car will be a daily drive when it's done so the interior will stay. I'm aiming more for a GT style car (as GT as a Nova will get ) rather than a racer. But a few years down the line I plan to go for a bigger family ride and use the Nova as a weekend toy, so I'll probably strip it then.

Went out today to get some bits as I mentioned. Typically the motorfactors local to me were absolutely useless, couldn't get anything.

So I'm going to get all my miscellaneous stuff off the net. Vaux wanted £44 for for metal fuel pipe, B&Q wanted £25 for copper pipe, motorfactors and Halfords wanted £10+ for a fuel filter and couldn't find any shaft-tec inner cv's from any of the motor factors in my area

Just been on ebay and found them things for well cheap.

Having a look at this copper pipe, it only mentions water, oil and gas but I'm assuming it'll be fine with fuel too:

    Also ordered my slimline fan.

i was goin buy some fuel injection hose and run it straight from the tank/pump to the top of the bulk head, using p-clips to mount it! But taking this route probably works out cheaper! Cant decide now Lol

Thanks Wayne. Benn looking at your project too. Will be visiting the shop in a bit to see if there's anymore progress and to pick up some refurbed wheels.

Very cheap mate, especially if you compare it to the prices I got. If the plumbing centre near me can't beat this price then I'll be buying it tonight. Thanks for checking the cv part no's.

Went for a 12" fan dude, was thinking to go for 2 smaller ones but it'd cost double the price and use up more power. I considered running a rubber hose but they can perish and the pipe would look a lot neater too.

Did the fan come with a fitting kit? On the ebay ad, it said it had fitting clips/kit included. I also made an offer on it so got it a tad cheaper too

Went and checked the local plumbing centre and they didn't have the stuff, smallest was 12mm pipe. So ebay it is.

I bought some acoustic cloth which is foam backed and some spray glue. Will be lining the inside of the glove box with the stuff, hate shizzle rattling in the glovebox, this should quieten it down and give it a quality feel

    Pics of the bits soon.
