Is it impossible to get insured at 18 please help lol

im 18 but will be 19 in march ive had my licence for nearly 6 month with points ive tryed qouets on a few different motors but they are all over 2000 with 500 to 800 deposits it takes the piss. im going to buy a nova but the cheapest qouet ive had is on a sri 1.4 and it was 1700 with a 365 deposit but i would be happily 2 pay that becouse i will have a bit power under my foot .my mate has a 09 focus 1.9 tdci or watever it is and his is only 1400 surely i mut be doin some think wrong could some one plz give me sum advice or somthink and sorry about my spelling haha ;D

Just get NOS and run from the po po. Then you won't need insurance.

unless youve got mega bucks, youll have to do like the rest of us did and drive round in a 1 litre for the first year.

I recommend selling the Nova and buying a cheaper car. I hear 2009 1.9 TDCi Focus' are cheap to insure

A £500 deposit isnt alot to find, if you can't, then save up over 3 months

newer cars are generaly cheaper to insure than older ones as they are generaly lower grouped and easier to get parts and repair

eg the company i used to work for grouped cars 1-99 a 89 1.1 fiesta was group 26 but an 04 1.6 mini one is only group 14 value of the car makes very little difference the risk is the damage you could cause to others and with points and at your age your a massive risk hence the prices your getting
