Mine did adjust, the metal bars in the headrests slide up and down in the headrest.

Im sick of people saying they were dangerous, they were tightened up rock hard they wouldnt budge, and i think if anyone did manage to get into a crash a headrest would be the last thing to worry about.

Danny, wtf are you talking about, you get whiplash when you lean FORWARD

it when your head wip back off the inpacked that y is called wip lash and y head rest were invented and is an MOT failure if a car over a serton date don't have them fitted to the front seats

Whiplash is a neck injury usually associated with rear end car collisions. Any blow from the back can cause a similar problem (sports etc.)
In a whiplash incident the neck is hyper-extended backwards straining or ripping neck tendons or compressing neck vertebrae or disks. The rupture of these tissues impinges on the spinal nerves causing extreme pain.
The similar motion of the head forward does not cause similar problems as the chin stops the hyper-extension.
Lateral forces cause a different problem due to the brain sloshing about in the skull.

Well i didnt know that .

Dont think its a problem in the back though cos they never came with headrests in the first place, so no harm done.
