    Subframe manufactured to support the one-piece carbon fibre front clamshell;

    And I'm about to start playing with the location and mounting for the radiator;

    Yes, it is a lot longer, I had no idea that was the case until I got it fitted. I guess the guys at UPG in Bulgaria did that deliberately to create more room for there engine install.

    Where that flat steel bar is at the front of the subframe is where the clamshell nose comes to.

    All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
    That I really miss when I reminisce

    I'm now modifying the subframe for the clamshell front, as it was a bit fiddly to get on and off. It will now be more 'quick release';

    And I have acquired some new rear calipers, which are lighter (half the weight of the Wilwood go kart calipers), and were very cheap, so I may end up re-doing the rear brakes yet again! These ones came off a Mini hillclimb car, but originate from a GP motorcycle;

    But for a little while there will be no progress on this car, as it's about to be put into storage whilst I take delivery of a high-spec. Nova circuit race car. More details on that to follow soon..........so my Nova goes off with standard front suspension and alloys, just to get it rolling;

    As per my post about hydraulic clutches in the 'Mechanical' section, I am now searching for a Daewoo gearbox (from a smallblock Daewoo), complete with the clutch slave cylinder, so if anyone can help on that, please let me know. My local breakers yard doesn't have anything.
