    Default York Raceway 11th October, NE meet....

    Had a really good day today at york raceway for the last RWYB day of the saeson before the raceway shuts down for winter, was a good turnout for the NE boys (and tanya & chelle) Myself, Novafusion, Tom Beverly, Alan H, his mate, sloth, Hendrix, Jacko valvercorsa & his mate, General Chancer, Tomo06tomo, their mate, Brodie SRi and a few of his mates, Nick J,Damper and his mrs Royston and his lad....


    Track action consisted of, Brodie (nova XE, R1 carbed) his mate (Saphire Cosworth) General_chancer (XE nova, R1 carbed) (his mate and his bro, matching pair of mk2 golf VR6 conversions) Royston (nova Sport & Range Rover V8)

    Plus it was the American muscle/air-cooled shoot out so major high powered beetles and some cool ass yank tanks, plus a load of bikes aswell, pics....

    This dude had balls the size of the world, big power Rover V8, shonky looking handling and epic power...













    Stunning RS1600i, not original unfortunately, was running a zetec lump....







    Group shot and a bit of mincing with hendrix's cav in the carpark...



    And a very special boy we saw (came and mumbled randomness to most of us, caught in the act of 'roffling his copter' in the carpark...



    Random cav, not a GSi or a turbo though, cloth interior and drums on the rear....

    Some good pics spud was also good to meet a couple of people off here.

    the best i got was 14.6 i didnt get any quicker than that think i need to pratice my starts first time running down 1/4mile its normaly a B road blast for me

    Brodie, i think you did sterlingly well for your first (cough, legal, cough) dragstrip attempts, you were getting faster as the day went on, that was clear to see, and you looked really good out there dude, shame about aidy's rad but im glad i spotted it as he came off the line, woulda hated to see him lose coolant and boil it/blow his headgasket!
