thanks for all the comments, means alot.

keith i will be definately getting a diff and the equal length set up. ideally want to do it once and once only so try and get it all right first time. haha.

brainsnova- yeh your rite, aparently he has a bad back.

once i get the correct cooler and mount it all i should be ready to take the engine/box back out and start on bodywork.

bit of an update, i sent the wrong intercooler back on tuesday and got my correct one made and delivered to me on thursday. top work by the forge boys.

    new cooler.

as you can see in the pic, the outlets are much higher now. only problem i got is that i cut my scrap bumper up to fit around the other cooler, no big deal but would have been nice to see it how i want it to be like.

so onto mounting it correctly and back far enough to get the bumper to fit, i cut so much off the back of the bumper it was unreal, it still wouldnt fit over the cooler correctly so i had to recess the recess. . doing this has made my radiator go back further but im hoping all will be well. .

cut my piece of metal i had made to the shape of the recess, wasnt perfect as ive never been one for straight lines. it did the job so i welded it on.

felt like putting all the front end on so i could see it all together but couldnt be bothered. got the grille out though.

then onto making my boost pipes. cut down the 2 90degree bends from the cooler so they would fit, after that i taped up my stainless pipe so it didnt get scratched. measured how far up i needed to cut it then cut it.

did the same for the remaining section

still got the turbo to cooler hoses to cut and make up but is looking tricky, have got a 63mm to 51mm reducing elbow and a 51mm 90 deg elbow. just a case of cutting them down and hoping for the best.

might go do that tommorow to get it out the way. i should be able to start taking it apart to get the engine back out, dont think ive missed anything that needs mocking up with the engine in have i??

    thanks for looking
