Cheers for the advice guys, TBH, I doubt I'll ever get that serious that I'll have the urge to change the components of the fury. It's better than what I have at the moment and will hopefully last me a good few years...if I get one.

I have just bought the same bike you have Spudly. I want to get back into biking but did not see the point in spending £500-£1000 on a decent bike only to use it for 6 months then leave it rotting in the shed.
Got a cracking deal on it, they have been reduced from £375 to £250 but there was only one place local that had it in stock.
So happens that a mate of a mate works there and got talking to him, the stock bike had been on display so had a few light marks on it so asked hime what he would do it for. In the end I got it for £200 which I thought was pretty good for a disc spec ally framed bike.
If I get back into it in a big way then I can justify spending the extra on a better bike and then give this one to the missus

Thats similar to how i got mine, i ended up paying £208 for it
Id stick with it for a bit and upgrade the forks/brakes/tyres as ive done with mine and its made it so much more rideable, dith the oe tyres asap though as they weigh a ton and mine feel much more spritely for having light kevlar beaded ones on it
Stick at it rich, its a way of life which im so glad to be back into!
i dont have moutian bike ... i have a custom bmx tho its a vauxhall nordic blue haro
