    Thought i'd bump this

    Just bought a new bike after 13+yrs of not riding!!

    Bought a Trek EX7 with Fox Float RP2 XV Rear Shock, Rock Shox Revelation 426 Dual Air Front Forks, SLX/XT Groupset, Avid Juicy 5 Hyd Discs.......

    Will get a pic up this weekend..

    I have a late 90's Rock Springs, like this:



    No pics of the actual bike as its been dumped in my shed under a pile of car junk for years. Same goes for my other Marin, a Palisades. Nice bike to ride that was, light as a feather even with manitou forks.

    Haven't ridden for years. Really just can't be bothered these days.

    Cannondale hardtail ftw

    tbh i hate mega travel bikes, horrible all round ride, heavy and dont like uphill, makes you lazy

    Its under a ton of Nova parts and other junk in my shed so he'd have a hard time of nicking it

    I need/want a 2nd hand bike that is of tolerable spec but 'old' enough for be sub £200. Hardtail only. Ideally discs, pref hydraulics.

    definitely do able but anything good at 200 will sell fast. if you went up to £250/£300 it would make it a lot easier to find a good bike, especially one with discs.
