Default *HOW TO* do a wheel refurb

    My wheel refurb....comments welcome
well after i picked up a set of grey speedlined off gordon livesy (cheers gordon) the refurb had to be done as the colour did not go with my car.
so i got the wheels like this:

then i began sanding them down and filling and blemishes.:

then they were primed, wet & dried and primed again:

wet & dried again then on went the appliance gloss white (3 coats):

i then done the same with another and left to dry for a couple of hours:

    and then the laquer:

Tip: take your time when applying top coats and laquer. its harder to get runs out of these where as primer can be rubbed down easily

80 grit any way you'll be filling.
180 grit to rub down the knackered paint bits.

800 grit to flat the primer.

If you really feel the need to 1500 grit to the polish up.

Whats the rough cost off doing a full set? Ive been reading that materials are about 40quid per wheel. which isnt alot less then getting them done pro.
