Any DJ Shadow or Slammin vinyl?
Edit: I prefer the crackles and pops of vinyl it makes the tune feel more real. digital tuneage is getting too precise.
Carl Cox three decks ftw

haahaha he'll have to ban me too, vinyl's all the way
Thing is MP3's have IMO killed the dj scene. There was nothing better than going out on a night and getting eyeballed to a dj playing a mix "probably messing up being off his head" and getting home as it was getting light.
Nowadays it's like clubbers are just listening to a latest mp3 cd that someones mixed at home. Booooring.
Rant over.
nah man 1210's ftw!! vinyl all the way!!Originally Posted by kevw
Indeed, I dont really care if its the owner of png or DJ Qbert, I tell it like it is!
CDJs suck, and will be the death of vinyl/dance music. As people like to go on youtube and bittorrent and download tunes and as a result the producers lose out. Only real DJs use vinyl anyway. I mix on a local pirate station which has CDJs and Technics and I can tell you the CDJs just sit in the corner gathering dust

I'm not banning anyone, don't be so childish
TBH, it's much cheaper and easier to buy MP3's than it is to buy vinyl, there's nowhere local to me anymore to buy any and I haven't bought any for about 3 years. I play tech house and techno and places like HMV don't do that stuff. I also get quite a lot of promos sent to me from producers and some labels (by MP3).
I still sometimes take some vinyl to gigs but there's hardly ever any turntables to use!
CDJ's FTW!
You are not far wrong there mate, especially living in north wales. I live near London and out of 3 records shops round here, 2 have closed down. So I understand your point of view.uch cheaper and easier to buy MP3's than it is to buy vinyl, there's nowhere local to me anymore
