The car drives brilliantly, is nice & smooth plus has lots of power on tap. The 5-speed auto gearbox has an adaptive mode, which alters itself to how you drive in order to get the best economy. It also has 'Sport' mode, which improves perfromance & gives excellent response in 'Kick-Down'.
At night, the dash lights up like an aircraft! All lights work & there are NO missing pixels from any display. (This is a common problem with E38's)
MOT - November 2009

Serivce History
The car comes with all its original documents including the BMW service booklet. It has 14 stamps, 8 of these being BMW Dealerships & the others largely stamped by "Autobarn - BMW Specialists and Rays Autos – BMW Specialist” if wanted I can give the days and mileage on what service was done on
Mileage is 141,000 & there are 1 green lights on the service indicator.
BAD BITS :o(
The only issue is the OBC needs replacing. I think it's called the 'Check-Control' unit, basically when you switch the car on it performs a load of checks. In this case, it says to check headlights, side lights etc...Etc... Then after a few seconds it goes away! It simply a small box that needs replacing under the steering wheel area. I've been informed these can be picked up from BMW for about £100. So not expensive if you want to fix this or needs a new Speedo cluster what can be bought form eBay for less than £50.
When the steering wheel was changed for the M5 item, the airbag light came on. It basically needs a reset. Any BMW specialist can turn it off for around £10. I just haven't got around to doing it.
The car is located in Swindon & can be viewed any time
