I was over on the East Anglia region of the Vauxhall Drivers Club (used to be Vauxhall Sports Car Club).
It was quite funny watching people walk over to the engine bay thinking "oh thats very clean, tidy & mininal. Hang on its got no gear linkage? Where's the clutch cable, hang on - where's the seats? Why the fcuk is there a big hole in the boot!"
In answer to the question mowgli - the spare wheel well isn't need so in an unnecessary weight and was an airflow obstruction (hence why the rear valance was also chopped out. But mainly to make way for the gearbox and diff.
Was great to see some of the nova's I've read about on here and I did come over and give a feeble group introduction today!
