Where to start...........
I bought a mk1 Areg nova gl early 2005 when i was 16. Obviasly i thought at the time the more fibreglass tat i had hanging off it the better.
How wrong was i.........
So now being 2009 and 21 my opinions have changed
So this is my last chance to finally finish what should be a respectable mk1 nova.
Heres it goes!
After purchasing the nova it turned out that the rot was bad, very bad. BUT seeing as i had the nova for 2 1/2 years at that point i wasnt giving up on the little mk1.
Off to the welders it went. It recieved the full treatment.
2 full sills
splash gaurds
inner wing corners
slam panel lower and upper parts
engine bay stitch welded
rear suspension turrets stitch welded
and some of the floor needed done also
after that was done it was time to strip all the underseal and treat.
Thats as far as i got before it sat for another 2 years.
So the work started again this saturday.
I travelled down to the lock up where the mk1 has been stored for the past 2 years and took it to my work.
So first thing was to clean up the cage and fit.
The feet were a rite mess

After:
left hand foot is after reworking:
3 hours later the cage was bolted in and done. I am still on the hunt for the front section.
Im busy finishing the bodywork at the moment as its booked in at the painters for 28th Aug to be painted glasier white.
Wish me luck
