    Default Con rods

Would it be best to change my con rods on my rebuild (1.6 16v aiming for 150bhp) I somehow managed to overlook con rods and to buy pistons and rods from autosprint is afckinglot of money, But obviously I don't want to snap a rod as it could mean a rebuild.

am running a 16v bottom end on a 8v head piston and rods are standard just used arp bolts on it, it was r/r just over your goal of 150 bhp,and will rev up to 8300 but limited to 7900

Oh I forgot to mention I will be using high compression pistons if that makes any difference.

rods should be good for 7.5krpm so aslong as not expecting to go over that and with ARP rod bolts, get them shot peened and balanced and should be good to go
