    To these:

Do I need to chop them?

of course not Matt, plug and play - isn't it obviously looking at the plugs?

What you see in the pics is all there is.

Do I even need that other ISO adapter? It's not obvious to me how the standard Nova power supply plugs into that block as they're clearly different fittings!?

Certainly later novas would have the standard ISO, I dont even know what is acualy on that plug

Im presuming (By the colours) that the wiring is for speakers.

Never seen anything like that before

PS: The 2nd adaptor would come in handy so you could chop your nova stuff and cut one of the plugs off of that to use.

There's that wire in the first pic (I assumed this was the power supply), theres the brown earth and the ariel and that's it. Was thinking it should be more straight forward!

So I may have to chop afterall?

    Spaz !

Your gonna need to chop those odd plugs off the car loom then use that 2nd adaptor to wire into the car loom, so you've got an ISO plug on the car loom.
How many speaker cables are there ?
You might also need to add a switched live to the ISO plug ?

If i've got nowt on / can be ar*ed tomorrow i'll give you a hand ... well do it for you !!
Buy some solder tho, as i've ran out.

    I'm a true Spaz.

Discovered more cableage though. There's one more black one which I'd say is for the speakers? No idea what a 'switched live' is, dare say you're right though! May have some solder at Aikton, think it's best if you give me a hand tbh!

your best with iso one ended plugs as you need to cut the connector of that new wiring plug. those other wires on the car also need cut of and soldered to the iso plug then its plug and play for the future. On the car you will have a live all the time and an earth. posibly black and brown then the plug in the picture is 2 speakers to the single plug so you need to seperate them and they will be left and right front speakers.
