    Default My wheel refurb....comments welcome

    well after i picked up a set of grey speedlined off gordon livesy (cheers gordon) the refurb had to be done as the colour did not go with my car.
    so i got the wheels like this:



    then i began sanding them down and filling and blemishes.:


    then they were primed, wet & dried and primed again:




    wet & dried again then on went the appliance gloss white (3 coats):




    i then done the same with another and left to dry for a couple of hours:


    and then the laquer:

    They look really good mate

    cheers vaughan needed to get them done before i put them on the car or i wouldnt of bothered at all.

    they almost look like they have been coated mate. i just done a set of astra gsi fanblades anthracite grey and they came out well. budget wheel prep all the way...

    eh . . . . . cars getting resprayed in june and wont get it back till the 30th

    They look really tidy! Its all about the prep! I learnt that with my rocker covers... oh and not doign ti when windy and rainy

    What paint did you use for the wheels as well ?
