The blue area on the mount is just a reflection, it is gloss black but later photos when fitted will help it look much better....................i hope,

    fresh looking altenator

    mount:

started prepping the brake servo- started sanding it and loved the chrome/polished look so i kept going, what do you think about a polished servo or do you think i should have it black, white r silver to match other areas of the bay? im undecided yet

    shinnnnnnnnnnnyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

general photo of my painting this evning

i then bought a spot weld cutter, whihc is basically a drill bit with a slightly flat head (A in the photo below)

i then used this along with a big hammer to remove the remaing part of the front section/panel to make way for the new one

    after a few hours

    and vioula...........................................i ts in

i used g-clamps to hold it, i intend now to trial fit the bonnet to make sure the catch fits perfectly

i am also finshing up the cardboard templetes for the new plates to be welded throughout the car, im getting the plates done professinaonlly by the girlfreinds dad who works at that - so il have freshly cut and shaped plates..................................i like :D

also i have prepped and reapinted the petrol tank - pics coming soon
gearboxed painted pics - coming soon
