yes i'm staying with the "small block" engine
but its having a full rebuild down to every nut and bolt
i've got loads of box's of new parts, waiting for fitting
most of them genuine gm parts
i've been collecting them for a couple of years

joe, got the soft stars from LMF vauxhall
cost me £286 including vat and delivery
but i bought then just before christmas 2007
when they were on sale, think price has gone up abit now

gazjoiner, feed up of buying just want to get it rebuilt
but don't want to rush it.

just a little update been doing a little work on the engine
just got the head back from being skimmed etc

i gave it new oil seals and ground seats in and new thermostat



the inlet manifold i striped back and cleaned/painted and replaced
a few bits



and striped the hubs, cleaned back to bare metal and painted
and then fitted new GM bearings



next to do is finsh gear box and finsh of engine bay

cant wait to get engine back together and running
but i don't want to rush it and bodge anything
lots of new parts to be fitted soon when engine bay is finished
