Did you use the y17 or x17 flywheel and starter?

I used my y17 as a donor and swapped the alt, starter, fly. Water pump. Alt tensioner and mount.

Yeah, we did the same.

Only problem is the lack if rev counter, but can live with that.

can't you take the feed off the isuzu alternator & use one of those doohickeys to change the revs like we stuck in the v6 at nats????

Same problem i have with mine, Dave had to remove the rev counter needle as it flies all over the shop apparently, but thats not a massive issue as it doesnt run atm
