Iain on a dry track how many clicks do you have your rear shocks set to and what spring rates are you running?

Hobbit we'll organise something this year, not even looked at trackdays this year what with the weather etc!

I'm currently on 325lb front and 250lb rear springs, I honestly can't remember what damping settings I use as it's been so long 14 clicks on the rear rings a bell as a starting point but I fine tune it depending on the feel/handling of the car on the day.

My updates are getting more and more dull each time Not doing much work on the ol' beast recently, but...

Since the car steps sideways when braking, I've re-adjusted the rear drums and it now brakes nice and straight and is a lot more stable. Drums off, bit dusty:

Loads of dust in the drums too:

    Quick clean:

Self adjusting mechanism that needs a helping hand:

Tapped the adjuster round with a screwdriver, only needed a few turns, set them both so you could only just get the drum on and felt the same resistance when the pedal was pressed:

Planning on doing loads more trackdays this year so long overdue is this purchase. Plated 1300kg (980kg max load) Woodford lightweight, perfect for towing my 830kg Nova:

One problem I had with it was I couldn't open the Nova doors when loaded because it hit the mudguard, so done some small mods to them. On:

Wingnut and bolt on the inside mount:

And with a slot instead of a hole on the inside of the mudguard, it neatly folds out of the way of the door:

Booked onto Blyton Park on the 25th May (Saturday), so just over a week to wait till I can (hopefully) test out my slicks and recent tweaks.

That's very good. I almost knocked my self out on a trailer like that, it has a small bar in front of the guard. The nova door hit that and slammed on my head. No nice.
