Head off and there's mega damage to #4 piston and head. Mild scoring on the bore. Bugger. This engine didn't last long at all, gutted.

He sure does, sensible chap is Iain, so let the sweep stake begin, all the valves are intact so that just leaves the contact tip (s) on the spark plug (unlikely) or a fixing in the throttle body for cylinder number 4, possible a screw securing the butterfly?Some things been in there.
