You need to put something eye catching, something memorable so the interviewer remembers you.....
Tell him you have an exstensive collection of Gimp Mask's.
Tell him you see dead people? (Personal fav, always a sure fire winner)

^^ . i agree
For most professional jobs, hobbies/personal interests are irrelevant.
Unless your after a job in an industry where social skills are higly regarded then it shouldnt be on there.
Hobbies and interests are a no no on any cv, IMO.

Hobbies are fine IMO as long as you're not using up space that could be put to better use. Just order it so any hobbies in the field of work you're looking for come first (e.g. if you're going for a job in computers tell them computer hobbies before car restoration etc).
Edit: When I was going for interviews, I found a few employers had looked at my hobbies and seen pictures of my car on my website. They mentioned it near the beginning of the interview and I chatted a little bit about what I had done to the car (engine conversions etc). It was a good ice breaker and helps you relax.

My hobbies got me my apprentaship!
Academically im not the best, but all I have done since I learnt how to walk is engineering, cars, bikes, rc cars, karting, motocross, trials, ive done all sorts.
If you show an interest relating to the job it is favourable imo!
Also im an apprentice engineer, may be differant in other areas!

i agree about you need to make them remember you , the last job interview that my misses went on she got asked to name something that she would like to do in the future ,to which she said, "travel round europe in a split screen VW camper" , they all remembered that and even asked her about it when she started
putting it on your cv is different i think aswell , i personally wouldnt bother
but yeah good for breaking ice in a interview
i really cant put, 'punch small children that piss me off', 'deck people in hoodies',
and i have an interest in Stu,
can i ?
