    Default Engine Myth

My mate has told me that if i get a 1.4SR block, 1.3 head & crank and 1.2 pistons and rods from a certain year its possible to make a 1450cc uber high compression engine.

anyone else heard of this? i think those are the right parts

i wouldn't say you could put 1.2 pistons in a 1.4 block, and to get 1450 i would of thought it would have to be machine work, but i do know the 1.3 head can be put on the 1.4 block to raise compression. Also if it was 1450 i would have thought pistons would have to be bespoke.

Complete 1.2 engine with the 1.3 rods and crank, then a suitable carb.
