    Default yet another ebay gem

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/vauhall-nova-1...1%7C240%3A1318

it is registered as a 1.2 on dvla.......

    and I quote....

    vauxhall tarmac rally car
class winning 1600 rally car has competed on north west tarmac championship for 4 years

only ever not finished one rally in 4 years
    log booked,
reshelled since last rally resprayed red, white interior [no rust]

so i'm guessing that it is actually a 1.2 that has had all of the bits from a crashed rally car put on it. the only rally it never finished was the last one, when it got spread over some hillside......

It appears to have a 1.6 lump in it though. If its a competition car surely its has to be registered correctly to be able to enter events??

    My Rebuild

They're over there with their new toys. Someone brought them in. No idea who bought them though.....

It would be worth contacting the north west tarmac championship as some poor sod has finished second probably every time to him.

Yep the 1.2 dizzy will fit, it just won't work with the injection system. The dizzy diameter is the same on all models.
