Got bored waiting for an engine so I attacked the boot floor with the angle grinder ,the car goes off in a couple of weeks to have a custom exhaust made at Edwards motorsport ,then I will get the boot floor remade around the exhaust.i am going for a different setup to get the noise down so I can do a few more track days at circuits I haven't driven

This is the fuel tank I had made ,it needs a mod to make it fill easier but this will be done when the exhaust is made ,the exhaust is going to pass through the middle

That tank givers me a chubby. I guess it will be sunk in to the floor, as the system will pass though it?
I'd wanna polish it...

Exhaust wise, could you not have a longer box to run across the boot (light to light style) to help with the noise?

Cutting into nicely painted bits upsets me but needs must. Look forward to seeing the exhaust design, what is the dB limit you're aiming to be under?

That is one of the options Ben ,but I will take Mike Edwards advice ,but I think it will be exiting on both sides just behind the rear wheels

Need to be below 100 db,currently 102 when warm and a fair bit more when cold
