Please ensure thread titles are a tad more imaginative than 'Insurance'.

Please give as many details as possible when asking for opinions on how good a quote is. There are MANY variables.

At a minimum, please state your postcode area (i.e. first part), cover level (TPF&T or FC), age and NCB. It also helps to mention the excess and if possible policy extras (e.g. ltd mileage, drive any car, business use etc)

Also, please note that misrepresentations on insurance policies are in breach of the Fraud Act 2006 (s.2, subsection 1 and 2, and s.3).

"Misrepresentations" includes fronting (intentional or unintentional statements regarding primary drivers), undeclared modifications (including engine conversions), vehicle usage, and any other factors that an insurance company bases its policy and/or services upon. Note that these can be false statements or witheld information - so simply not stating the car is modified, for example, is still in breach of the Act.

The penalties for a conviction under this Act can result in up to 10 years imprisonment and/or a sizeable fine. Sentencing will be harder for those who have pre-meditated an offence. Posts on an Internet forum could be taken as intent and count as pre-meditation.

We take a hard line on those promoting, partaking in, or planning to commit fraud. Bans will be issued as required. Don't bleat about it, as a few days break from the forum will be nothing compared to the ~10 years in the nick you could face.

Can you provide more details about your insurance query, such as your postcode area, coverage level, age, and No Claims Bonus, to receive more accurate and helpful opinions?
