Have you tried servicing any of the ones you have?

I took mine to a carb specialist in Cambuslang and he re-built mine.

Call Stuart on (0141) 6411199, let us know how you get on.

I had bought the parts and think it was only £40 or so for him to carry out the re-build.

Give him a phone, he's a very knowledgable chap.

hey guys thanks for the help and intrest where do a start a had alot of issues with it when a got it engine wise ive rebuilt the top ent camshaft seals followers the lot then one day run out of petrol because i was a trumpet and thats wot caused the first carb to play up and never run right after that then the second one a got (second hand) just never ran right from the start so a built one from the 2 its not to bad if a permanantly run on red ex like a full bottle to 20 quids worth of petrol once the car coughs n splutters for while then clears its not to bad but everytime a dip the clutch it just conks out other times it ticks over fine at 1000rpm think its time to get a conversion kit and throw in my redtop
