    Loggyboy, completely see what you're saying. If it works then it works Some people are more than happy using a big hammer which seems a bit pikey to me.

    A hammered in chassis leg actually looks neater than cut/boxed imo, as it blends in better if you get me

    I attacked mine with a hammer. After reading through this, i'm debating weather to cut and weld??!!

    Hammer does the job. Anything that makes it clear does the job. Just different ideas on whats tidy I suppose

    The best and most factory way ive seen it done is to heat the panel up (alot) and gently bend the panel in. Il see if I can get some pics of mates minter LET whose is bent like that.

    What do you do about the two long bolts that go thuoght the tie rod mount after you have welded the plate on?
